Where can I buy tickets for BITE of Amsterdam?

You can buy tickets for BITE of Amsterdam online through our website or on the Eventix website. Additionally, tickets are sold at the door. However, there is a clear advantage to buying a ticket online compared to purchasing one at the door.

Do I need to buy a ticket for children?

Children up to 10 years old can enter for free. For children between 10 and 16 years old, there is a reduced rate of €12.50. From 17 years old, you pay the regular entrance fee. You must register your kids in advance and download a kids ticket. Identification is required at the event entrance. Additionally, children under 18 years old can only enter the event accompanied by an adult. Please note: it is not allowed to serve alcohol to visitors under 18 years old, even if provided by the parents of these underage visitors.

How can I pay at BITE of Amsterdam?

BITE is a Pin-Only event. This means you can use your card to pay at all restaurants, market stalls, and participants. Prefer to pay with cash? No problem, we have cash cards available that can be loaded with an amount of your choice at our cash registers at the entrance. With these cards, you can pay at any pavilion, similar to a bank card.

Can I reach the Amstelpark by public transport?

Absolutely! The Amstelpark is located just across from Amsterdam RAI station, accessible by train and metro. We’re also very accessible via the North-South metro line.

Managed to reach Amsterdam RAI station? Then you’re almost here! It’s less than a 10-minute walk from here to the Amstelpark. Take the entrance near restaurant Rosarium and follow our signs to the event entrance. You can also take tram 50, 51, or bus 62, 148, or 169, which stop right in front at Weerdestein.

Coming by car? Check Waze, Flitsmeister, TomTom apps, or Google Maps or www.vananaarbeter.nl before you leave There are several parking options near the event. The entrance to the park is where restaurant Rosarium is located.

Where can I park?

Parking is available around the Amstelpark, but consider coming by bike or public transport. The North-South line stops at RAI – then it’s just a 10-minute walk to the park!

Where is BITE of Amsterdam held?

In the Amstelpark in Amsterdam. Former Floriade grounds (1972 edition), featuring various gardens (including the Japanese and Italian gardens), a maze, a mini-golf course, a rose garden, an orangery, greenhouses, the Rhododendron Valley, a windmill, an urban farm, and a large playground. There’s a little train that travels around the entire park. The Glass House often hosts interesting art exhibitions.

Is BITE of Amsterdam wheelchair accessible?

The BITE organization strives to make the venue as accessible as possible for everyone. There are disabled parking spots available on-site, and ramps are provided at every elevated stand. Additionally, there are paved paths, boardwalks over the grass, and a disabled toilet located at the first aid station of BITE of Amsterdam. In other words, we warmly welcome guests arriving in wheelchairs. If there are any accessibility issues, our team will be on hand to assist!

Are pets allowed at BITE?

Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring your pets to BITE of Amsterdam except for guide dogs.

How does the hardcup system for drinks work at BITE?

When ordering a drink at one of our bars, you’ll receive your drink in a reusable hardcup, without the need for a token. For a refill, simply return your used hardcup, and we’ll provide you with a clean one.

How do BITE participants contribute to sustainability?

At BITE, we are fully committed to a greener future, and our participants play a crucial role by strictly adhering to our sustainability guidelines. This includes carefully sorting their waste, opting for biodegradable disposable products, and ensuring that there is always at least one vegetarian dish on the menu.

How does the BITE organization contribute to sustainability?

BITE has appointed a sustainability coordinator whose task is to continuously improve our event’s sustainability. This coordinator ensures that all sustainability initiatives, such as using green energy, utilizing local water sources, and implementing organic green soap in our washing and rinsing equipment, are not only planned but also implemented and adhered to.

Do I need to print out my ticket?

We kindly request that you refrain from printing out your online-purchased ticket. Instead, please present your ticket digitally at the entrance. This way, we can collectively contribute to reducing litter.

What should I do with my waste?

Just as you wouldn’t dispose of waste next to the trash can at home, we ask that you help maintain cleanliness on the grounds. Therefore, please dispose of waste in the designated waste containers around the venue. Together, we can keep it super clean. Additionally, please ensure to use the designated bins for waste separation, helping us work towards a greener future.

Where can I find information about allergies?

Do you have an allergy? The menus of the restaurants list the ingredients used in the dishes. If you can’t find it, don’t hesitate to ask the chef or the restaurant for information!

Is there enough choice for vegans and vegetarians?

Yes, there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available at BITE of Amsterdam. Each restaurant presents at least 1 vegetarian or vegan dish on the menu. In short, there’s plenty of choice. We will present the dishes on our website prior to the event.

Lockers

At the entrance of the venue, there are lockers available. Here you can easily store your jacket, sweater, bag, and/or umbrella. This is a paid service.
